Making a Mark: Anglo-Saxons

Join us as we discuss what has been discovered at local archaeological dig sites and how the treasures that are on display tell us about what life was like for the Anglo-Saxons.

Students are encouraged to investigate and handle replicas of objects found within Anglo-Saxon graves, take part in fun board games and create their own clay pot to take back to school. It also includes a short tour of our Anglo-Saxon display.

The workshop lasts approximately 2 hours.

Suitable for Key Stage 2.

£50 per workshop (up to 30 children), plus £1.50 museum admission charge per child.
