Following unprecedented demand, tickets have sold out for David Walliams, Ratburger at Preston Park Museum & Grounds.
Taking place in The Bandstand Garden, Ratburger is part of Preston Park’s Theatre in the Park series. Shows will take place on the 18 June and the 7 July.
The outdoor theatre performance, presented by Heartbreak Productions, follows the journey of 12 year old Zoe as she as she takes on the revolting characters that have proved to be one of the hallmarks of David Walliams’ appeal. Our heroine has a profound love of animals and a dream of travelling the world that keep her going as she copes with her disgusting neighbours, her recently unemployed dad, and the menacing Burt (of Burt’s Burgers) who is after Zoe and her pet rat!
It follows on from the successful 2015 adaptation of Mr Stink, which David Walliams described as “Magnificent!”.
Guests are invited to bring a blanket and pack a picnic for a night of ‘not-to-be-missed’ family fun.
Councillor Norma Wilburn, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Cabinet Member for Arts, Leisure and Culture, said: “It is great that Preston Park are bringing high profile events such as this to Stockton and that visitors are travelling from across the North East to what promises to be an unforgettable family night out”.
