Making A Mark: Portraits

10am-3pm (times can be altered)

An exciting opportunity for children to work with a professional photographer and a member of the Museum Learning Team to create a portfolio of portraiture themed art work to take back to school with them. They will explore different mediums including sketching, specialist paints, paper and photography techniques.

These specialist workshops are supported by Arts Council England and in partnership with the National Portrait Gallery in London, focusing on local heroes and different artistic methods used to portray them.

Suitable for Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.

£50 per day, plus £1.50 museum admission per child (accompanying adults are free).
