This summer, join Preston Park for a swashbuckling adventure and visit the 40ft pop-up beach which takes inspiration from the classic Victorian novel Treasure Island by Robert Louis Stevenson.
Experience life on a deserted island complete with a shipwreck shop, beach shack and palm trees.
Every Saturday, there will also be a chance to meet real-life pirates and mermaids with resident performing arts group, Page2Stage.
Plus, take part in a free trail to find the washed-up treasure that has found its way into the museum.
Open daily throughout the summer holidays (22 July – 3 September)
10am – 4pm (last admission 3.30pm).
Free entry with museum admission.
