WWI Workshop

Autumn 2016

Our new World War I Workshops are inspired by the temporary exhibition ‘Spence-The Art of War’, which showcases the original artwork of Colonel Spence, Commander of the 5th Battalion Durham Light Infantry during the First World War. This immersive exhibition brings to life the sights, sounds and even the smells of life on the battleground.

These FREE workshops are funded through the Heritage Lottery Fund and are suitable for KS2 ad 3 (KS4 upon request). Normal school admission applies.
