*In line with the latest recommendations from the government, Preston Park Museum will be closing from 5pm on Wednesday 18 March 2020 until further notice. We will also be postponing all of our upcoming events. Thank you for your support and understanding.*
Discover an eggs-hibition of, you guessed it, eggs!
See over 1,500 decorated eggs made by local schools and community groups.
In previous years, we have seen some cracking eggs (excuse the pun!) including ‘Egg Sheeran’, ‘Hagrid from Harry Potter’, and ‘First Egg on the moon’. We are always very impressed by the quality of eggs we receive and are delighted that so many schools and community groups are taking part in 2020.
We look forward to welcoming you to the museum to celebrate everyone’s hard work in what is a unique piece of community art.
This year’s Eggshibition promises to be an ‘eggs-travaganza’ of colour with a rainbow display that visitors are invited to walk beneath.
Have you decorated an egg for a previous eggshibition? If so keep an eye out for it as we try and re-use as many as possible.
Eggshibition will be on display in the museum from 17 March to 19 April. See museum opening times here.
Normal museum admission applies, see our prices here. If you already have an annual museum ticket, don’t forget to bring it with you.
Last admission is 3.30pm.
