Join Make & Mend Company at Preston Park Museum for the second Make & Mend Festival! The event shares a passion for craft and the belief that making is good for the soul. You can expect to experience a fun day full of colour and character, positivity and wellbeing, craft and creativity.
Throughout the day you will have the opportunity to enjoy craft workshops, listen to inspiring talks, watch expert craft demonstrations, join in with our big makes, relax in the sunshine (not guaranteed!), enjoy a mindful walk, take a yoga class, meet like-minded people and enjoy soaking up the creative atmosphere with craft lovers, positive thinkers and mindful makers.
There will be a wide range of workshops on offer including embroidery, watercolour painting, papercutting and much more. There will also be talks and activities to support your wellbeing and a marketplace offering thoughtfully curated craft kits and handmade gifts to inspire your creativity, in partnership with The Crafthood.
New for this year – on Monday 8 July, Make & Mend will present a day of inspiration and motivation for local creative small businesses. The day will be full of helpful tips to move your business forward including photography and social media skills as well as inspiring talks and an opportunity to meet other like minded creatives and makers. More info coming soon!
Tickets will be on sale from April and there will be a range of ticket options – including a special early bird offer!
