What better way to bring a topic or subject to life, than to experience it first hand at Preston Park Museum with our vast and varied collection?
Why not take advantage of our hands-on workshop sessions spanning a variety of curriculum activities and suitable for Early Years, Primary, Secondary, Special Interest and Community Groups?
We have lunch areas available as well as a number of loan/theme boxes to hire.
If you would prefer a self-led visit simply get in touch and we can advise on availability and provide you with useful resources to help plan your trip.
Extend your visit
There are lots of unique and fun things to do within the grounds of the museum whilst on your school visit. Why not look at including a boat trip along the River Tees with RiverShack, a traditional photography session with Dr Charles Twist in the Victorian Street or combine your trip with a visit to the tropical Butterfly World?
Please note that you will still need to book with the Museum Learning Team if you are entering the museum or using the lunch spaces and normal school admission prices still apply.
