Terms & Conditions

Theatre in the Park Terms & Conditions:

  1. Tickets are for an outdoor theatre performance with unreserved, ground seating spaces, taken up on a first come first served basis for each performance.
  2. If you have booked concession tickets proof of concession may be required.
  3. The show goes on whatever the weather (unless dangerous, like fork lightning), so please come prepared.
  4. Refunds are not available on tickets except for cancellation of a performance.
  5. Audiences can bring along picnics, blankets and folding chairs; please consider other audience members and do not obscure the view of those behind you.
  6. Please clear up your rubbish and dispose of responsibly in bags and bins provided.
  7. Gates open 1 hour before the performance starts unless otherwise advised.
  8. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
  9. Dogs are permitted but must be on a short lead and kept under control.
  10. Alcohol is not permitted.
  11. Latecomers may be asked to wait until a suitable break in the performance before being admitted.
  12. We reserve the right to refuse admission and may request any ticket holders to leave if necessary.
  13. Mobile phones and other electronic equipment must be switched off during performances.
  14. Customers are advised that some performances may contain flashing lighting/strobe effects.
  15. Smoking or the use of electronic cigarettes is not permitted anywhere within the performance area.

General Competition Terms & Conditions:

  1. Competitions are open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, except employees of Stockton Borough Council and any associated partners.
  2. Details of how to enter form part of the terms and conditions and will be outlined in the Competition Details. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules. The decision of the judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  3. Entrants must submit their personal information as requested when entering the competition. Entry is restricted to one per person and once submitted, an entry cannot be amended.
  4. Late, illegible or incomplete entries will not be accepted. No responsibility can be accepted for lost entries.
  5. The opening date and closing date for entries are as indicated in the Competition Details. For each draw, one winner will be drawn from the entries received by the closing date. Winners will be drawn at random by Preston Park Museum & Grounds, whose decision is final.
  6. The winners will be contacted within seven days of the closing date of the prize draw. Should the Promoter be unable to contact a winner or should a winner be unable to accept their prize, the Promoter reserves the right to award that prize to an alternative winner, drawn in accordance with these terms and conditions.
  7. The prizes as described is available on the date of publication. Should a prize or any part of a prize become unavailable, a substitute of equal value will be provided.
  8. The prize is non-transferable and no substitutions or cash equivalents are permitted.
  9. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to collect their prize from Preston Park Museum & Grounds, unless otherwise stated in the Competition Details.
  10. By accepting the prize, winners agree that the Promoter may publish their names and address towns/counties in any media in connection with the prize draw. The names of winners will be available on written request to Preston Park Museum & Grounds.
  11. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time and without notice.
