Memory of a journey
A unique exhibition at Preston Park Museum of decorated peg dolls representing people's favourite train journey.
Across the Tees Valley and County Durham, community groups, school pupils, care home residents and visitors to S&DR200 festival events have been involved in a mass participation art project. Throughout 2025, they have been decorating peg dolls, representing their favourite train journey.
Thousands of the designs will be showcased in a unique exhibition at Preston Park Museum.

Entry for this event is included in the price of a museum admission pass.
