Young Producers

Young Producers are a group of 16 to 25 year olds who are involved in the planning of events and exhibitions at our museums.

The Young Producers meet once a month in person to talk about projects and events they want to be involved in and to learn about careers in the creative industries across the north-east.

Visit the Tees Valley Museums website to learn about the Young Producers programme.

Careers at Tees Valley Museums

There are many different job roles available in a museum. The stories behind old objects and the involvement with the local community all contribute to an exciting career.

You can work with local schools as they learn about historic objects through a range of workshops, or you could be part of the collections team who look after interesting objects and create exciting exhibitions.

Working in a museum brings something different every day.

Visit the Tees Valley Museum to learn more about creative careers.
